For the third consecutive year, Scandinavian Software Park has continued its collaboration with Passerelles Numériques Vietnam, supporting young people as they prepare for careers in technology. Most recently, we welcomed PNV students to the Park for a week of learning, professional exchange and first hand experience in a real technology workplace.
Creating Access to Education and Career Opportunities
Passerelles Numériques Vietnam, or PNV, is part of a French non governmental and nonprofit organisation that helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access education and professional opportunities in technology.
Our collaboration with PNV focuses particularly on students from Central Vietnam who may have limited access to vocational or higher education. Through structured IT education, professional skills development and recognised qualifications, the programme helps students build a stronger foundation for entering the job market.
For us, creating access to a career is about more than helping someone secure their first job. A sustainable career can open new possibilities for young people to shape their own futures and, over time, better support their families.
A Week Inside the Park
As part of this year’s programme, PNV students spent a week at Scandinavian Software Park, experiencing what everyday work looks like within an international technology environment.
Alongside opportunities to strengthen their professional knowledge, the students took part in workshops designed to develop soft skills and gain practical perspectives on working life.
Spending time at the Park also gave them an opportunity to observe a professional technology workplace more closely, interact with people working in the industry and connect what they have learned with the environment they are preparing to enter.
Preparing Young People for the World of Work
Our work with PNV forms part of a broader commitment to supporting the next generation as they prepare for their careers.
Beyond this collaboration, we also contribute to soft skills training, knowledge and career sharing sessions for university students in Hanoi, as well as supporting student scientific research activities.
Through these initiatives, we hope to help young people build confidence, strengthen practical workplace skills and become better prepared for the transition from education into employment.
Three years of working with PNV have shown us the value of creating opportunities for young people to learn, experience and connect with the technology industry. We look forward to continuing that journey and helping more young talent take meaningful steps towards their future careers.
