What does Nordic working culture look like in everyday practice? At our latest Open Talk, colleagues at Scandinavian Software Park joined Hieu Doan, General Director of Monterro Vietnam, for a morning of breakfast and open conversations about the values that shape the way we work together.
Nordic Working Culture: Trust and Ownership in Practice
The session offered an opportunity to discuss how Nordic working principles are reflected in everyday work at Scandinavian Software Park.
Leading the conversation, Hieu Doan shared perspectives on the importance of trust as a foundation for collaboration and individual ownership. When people are trusted to take responsibility for their work, they have greater autonomy to make decisions, contribute ideas and take ownership of what they build.
The discussion also explored how these principles influence the way colleagues work together across different teams and companies at the Park.
An Open Conversation About the Way We Work
True to its name, Open Talk was designed as an informal, two-way conversation rather than a traditional presentation.
Over breakfast, participants actively raised questions and exchanged perspectives, creating a lively discussion about Nordic working culture and how its values are experienced in practice.
Beyond sharing knowledge, the session provided an opportunity for everyone to better understand the principles behind our working environment and reflect on how we can put them into practice together.
We look forward to more meaningful conversations at the next Open Talk!
